Ana Felvinczi is an architect, who graduated from Ion Mincu Institute, Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning within the Technical University from Cluj-Napoca and works in her own architecture studio, “Felvinczi Architecture”. Since 2015 she is a member of Someș Delivery team and has an active role in coordinating the teams of students from design & build workshops. Between 2015-2016 she worked as a volunteer architect in the architectural education and built environment programme destined for children, called “De-a Arhitectura”. Since 2016 she has been a teacher at the Vocational Highschool of Arts from Târgu Mureș, at the Architecture Workshop, where she initiated the “hey!yard” project, an educational approach of arranging public spaces by students from the architecture department. This is meant to guide them through all the stages of a building project, from context analysis to designing the architecture object, and from learning to work with building materials to a responsible involvement in the build environment around them. In 2020, together with Marius Miclăuș, she initiated the Arhitec’tool project, out of the desire to build an educational updated framework for teachers and students from the architecture departments of vocational highschools. She participated in the Camposaz wood workshop (Siror, Italy, 2015) and was awarded in the National Architecture Biennial, the Architecture Biennial 6 and Mureș Architecture Annual for Someș Delivery, hey!yard and XO-Cărare de explorare projects.
